1. Programming, testing and commissioning of Siemens make SIMATIC S7 family of automation systems, including use of STEP 7 & D7 SYS tool

2. Knowledge of working on WIN CC software

3. Knowledge of communication system basics (fibre optics, Ethernet, PROFIBUS)

4. Trouble shooting in electrical control circuits

Responsibilities :

1. Preparation of software for control & protection of HVDC and FACTS solutions

2. Preparation of factory test procedures, protocols and reports

3. Preparation of site test procedures, protocols and reports

4. Performing factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests as per procedure for HVDC and FACTS C&P systems at factory and site

5. Trouble shooting at customer sites

6. Updating of engineering documentation upon completion of factory and site tests

7. Job would involve extensive travelling to customer sites and customer interaction
