Job Description:
Candidates who are looking forward to work in Cisco should have the following skills and responsibilities.
1. Candidate should have strong background with experience in Mobile Packet Core products.
2. Candidate should have strong knowledge in C, data structures and algorithms.
3. Candidate should have strong knowledge in Networking.
4. Working knowledge in Testing. Preferably on Mobility Products.
5. Candidate should have experience in a scripting language. Preferable in TCL
6. Prior experience working in Agile model is an added advantage
Responsibilities :
1. Ability to widely apply networking principles, theories and field concepts to product development and possession of working knowledge of related disciplines.
2. Requires hands on experience with one or more of the LAN/WAN and network layer protocols. Understand related products' architecture. Understand competitive products.
3. Ability to apply new technology independently. Ability to design multiple subsystem architecture.
4. Ability to plan small projects.
5. Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple sub systems. Works under department strategy and direction.
6. Translates department goals into own work assignments. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
7. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
8. Interfaces cross-functionally at the working team level.
9. Customer resolution requires excellent communication skills. Sponsors and models exemplary team interaction.
