2. C/C++ Programming minimum
3. Primarily Windows Understanding but UNIX environments a plus
4. Solid networking concepts

6. Interest and even coursework in Quality Assurance is a major plus here: Creating test plans, designs and executing of tests
7. Applicable experience using automation and scripting languages like Python or Perl

Responsibilities :
1. Write automated tests for the framework (both black box and white box)
2. Actively contribute to code reviews Validate that user stories meet acceptance criteria and have sufficient automation in place
3. Verify defects and ensure appropriate automation is in place
4. Perform exploratory testing of new features and other changes to the product Be a strong advocate for quality on the scrum team
5. Assist in the planning, design, and verification of user stories Verify fixes before they go to customers, as needed (team does mainline and sustaining work) Identify areas for improvement and assist in refining standards and procedures
6. Advance best practices such as automated testing, correct prioritization of exploratory tests, thorough SDK documentation, peer reviews, maintaining API compatibility, creating robust, maintainable APIs, etc
7. Perform any other related work as assigned Working closely with local as well as cross site development/QA team(s) in a high bandwidth environment. Working well with a remote QA team using your excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
8. Prompt identification and escalation of defects; working with cross site and cross functional product teams to isolate problem; and tracking the issues to complete resolution. Evaluation and selection of testing tools.
9. Test tool development as necessary.
10. Automation framework development or modification as necessary.
11. Experience with both White Box and Black Box testing techniques
12. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues across multiple technologies as needed Experience designing and building automation frameworks
13. Adaptive to a rapidly changing environment and works creatively with minimal supervision
14. Excellent time management skills in handling multiple priorities with individual deadlines
15. Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies.
16. Must work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
